I wanted very much to hate this new spot from the team that previously assaulted River North with the infinite dipshitery that was American Junkie. The only thing that could possibly be more annoying than that vodka red bull factory? Let’s make it Hamptons themed! That way we can pretend we’re in Montauk while sipping shitty rose in the Midwest of America!!

Well- I’m big enough to admit that I was wrong. This place is charming. I first stopped by around 5pm when their happy hour was in full swing.  A live band was playing, people were getting convivial and the food coming out of the kitchen looked inviting as it was being delivered to ladies with a bottle of sauvignon blanc on ice.

I returned another evening later and found Chicago’s well-heeled enjoying the summer atmosphere.  You kind of feel like you’re sipping a martini in the Pottery Barn summer issue- but maybe that’s just what we need come February. Mini crab cakes were popular, as were the crab claws. We didn’t get into anything more substantial, but the restaurant was busy until late.

So, verdict is: Yay.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download

Who to go with: small groups were ideal, happy hour was worth it

What to avoid: Falling out the window. (yes, this happened. No, it was not me)
